Lara Pawson
London. Lara Pawson is a freelance journalist and writer currently based in London. From 1998 to 2005 she was with the BBC, including several years working as a reporter in Angola, Ivory Coast and Mali. She has also lived in Ghana and South Africa. These days, she much prefers the certainty of fiction to the illusions of fact and reportage. Meanwhile, her longing for Angola has never faded and she returns whenever the visa and money permit. She wishes that were much more often.
