Anabela Mota Ribeiro
Lives and works in Lisbon. Graduated in philosophy by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she attended the Masters in Philosophy - Aesthetics variant. Freelance journalist. Currently writes for Público and Jornal de Negócios. Was the author and hostess of TV programs at RTP. Worked in radio and was a correspondent for Antena 1 in London between 2007 and 2008. Organizes and moderates a monthly discussion about books at Bertrand Bookstore in Chiado. Led the colloquium “We, Culture and Me” at the Serralves Foundation in 2003. Curated the cycle of conferences “What is America today?”, Co-organized by FLAD and Casa da Música in 2011, and the cycle film “Night and Fog - Portugal and the Holocaust,” organized by the Cinematheque with the U.S. Embassy, FLAD and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2013. The journalistic area to which Anabela Mota Ribeiro has dedicated herself most is the interview. She a book with 14 interviews, The Dream of a Curious (2003).
