Graham Douglas
I worked in chemical research for several years, then became a secondary school teacher in London and taught English in Sudan, Italy and Spain where I began to appreciate Latin culture. I joined the Prisma in 2010 in its first year, as a fundraiser, then gradually moved to translation, proof-reading and contributing articles.
I continue to contribute to The Prisma as a freelancer and also to the Latino-interest online paper www.latinolife.co.uk. I regularly interview film-makers during the festivals that come to Lisbon, where I live.
I have translated two books from Portuguese to English and assisted with this on the Virtual Museum of Cabo-Verdean culture created by Glaucia Nogueira https://www.caboverdeamusica.online/
