José Fernandes
born in Huambo, Angola (1959). Grew up in Cascais until 18 years old when he went to the USA to study. Graduated in Economics at South Eastern Louisiana university in Hammond, Louisiana, USA. Worked as a door to door salesman and also as a stock broker in New Orleans where he lived for 27 years. After Hurricane Katrina, returned to Portugal where he has been working as a photographer. In December 2010 he is returning to live in New Orleans
