Sandra Lang
Theorist and a bowmaker, having a background in craft, theory and art. Currently she lives in Zurich. Her work is situated at the intersection of different practices such as writing, philosophy, art and activism. She is mostly interested in the development of collective practices. Her theoretical interests include poststructuralist, Italian workerist and postworkerist theories. In her research, she focuses on historical and contemporary social movements, such as the Italian social movements of the 1960s and 1970s and the global social movements since 2011. She has worked in the field of violin and bow making in Italy, Belgium, France and now in Switzerland. For the last three years she has been collaborating regularly with Ana Bigotte Vieira and is a co-editor of the magazine Jeux Sans Frontières #2.
