Cécile Bourne-Farrell
Independent curator who worked for seven years at the Musée d’Art Moderne of Paris, and for both public, private and institutions in Africa, Asia and Europe, including King’s College London for “Traces of War”, co-curator with Vivienne Jabri in 2016. She was curator of SUD2017, Triennale in Douala, Cameroon and recently “Breaking the Code of Silence”, Air351, Cascais, Lisbon, 2018. Since 2019, she joins Arts Cabinet on an advisory capacity, and as Curator, Special Projects. Cultural mediator for the Foundation de France for the implementation of the New Patrons from 2003-08 in Spain, and since 2013 for the suburb of Paris, in collaboration with Mari Linnman, accredited mediator for the Ile de France region. Committee member of the Foundation Nmac/Montenmedio, Spain (2001-03) and Le Pavillon, Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2007-08). Since 2011, teaches regularly at Paris College of Art, Paris. Aica and C-E-A active membe.
