Mariana Moniz
Lisbon (2000). Graduated with a degree in Culture and Communication Studies from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (FLUL). After that, she took a course in Journalism at the School of Technologies, Innovation and Creation (ETIC). She has worked in several social media organizations, such as the Cultural Association GERADOR and the Lifestyle Magazine NiT. Currently works as a journalist and social media manager at SIC Notícias. She writes sporadically for other independent media, such as BUALA. Her career involved writing reports, news and interviews, but also moderating events and debates on a wide range of topics. Among her personal interests, her love for writing, traveling and the fight for a better society stands out, particularly regarding to gender equality.
