Aos kambas e amantes da arte nas redondezas não percam!!! A exposição colectiva “Fuckin’ Globo!” reúne vários artistas multidisciplinares, que apresentarão trabalhos em diferentes linguagens tais como performance, fotografia, som e instalação no mítico Hotel Globo, um empreendimento incontornável na vida cultural da baixa de Luanda. Nesta exposição pretende-se fazer uma abordagem sobre o uso do corpo, da imagem e do som, numa era em que o dialogo é substituído pela violência dos equipamentos de alta tecnologia, e em que a galopante globalização dos conflitos tornou-se no principal factor de contaminação e homogeneização cultural.Em “Fuckin´ Globo!”, o espaço se tornará parte indissociável do conceito das obras apresentadas, criando uma interação em uníssono entre as várias intervenções, afim de representar um universo submerso numa gritante cacofonia. Num ambiente claustrofóbico, e na intimidade dos quartos, as obras no Hotel Globo pretendem funcionar como uma metáfora sobre a inconformidade de quem vive num planeta em pleno caos e de acelerada mutação. A palavra e a imagem serão submetidas a um processo de distorção e manipulação, arriscando sobre os limites e definições da criação artística num especifico contexto geográfico.

The collective exhibition “Fuckin’ Globo!” is an assemblage of interdisciplinary artists and they’ll be displaying works in a wide range of art mediums and form such as performance, photography, sound and installation, at the mythical Hotel Globo, a pivotal building on Luanda’s downtown cultural life. The aim of the exhibition is to discuss the modern use of the body, image and sound, at the contemporary days we’re living, where verbal communication is replaced by the violence of the high tech hardware and the ever growing global warfare has become the principal factor of the cultural contamination and similarity.On “Fuckin’ Globo!” the space of the exhibition will be an inseparable part from the general concept of the works being shown by the artists, generating an unison from the various interventions, that will end up representing an Universe submersed in a giant cacophony. At a claustrophobic environment and the intimacy of the rooms, the purpose of the performances is to set a metaphor on the unconformity set to all of us living on a planet full of chaos and advanced mutation. Word and image will be put through a process of distortion and manipulation, thus venturing on the limit and definition of artistic creation at a specific geographical context.
